This Scavenger is going to be a fun time and from the looks of things a nice evening to participate.
Here are the rules:
- The shot must be taken tomorrow evening, post 6 pm. Dates and times will be checked and anyone breaking those rules will become next terms President by acclamation!!
- All will meet back at room 155 at 8:30 pm, anyone late will become next year’s VP by acclamation!!
- Change your camera’s to .jpg format (no RAW or Tiff) only and make sure your card has been formatted. Otherwise you joint the above two rule breakers as the new Members at Large.
There, next year’s term elected positions have been established and will be ready to serve!!
The Categories are:
- Something Old
- Something New
- Something Borrowed
- Something Blue
- Spirals
- Intensity
- Marketing
- Off Balance
- Lens Pull
- Portrait
So this is the last regular meeting of the Year, so attend and let’s have some fun.. Most Important, be safe.
Because of the nature of the evening there will be “No” People’s Choice.

Tips:
On the RPC web site Member Area there is a Wiki tab. If you have some hints, tips or other wonderful information please submit to tips-n-tricks@reginaphotoclub.com . Please look at the Wiki tab because these Hints & Tips will be part of that tab. All those very interesting articles Keith has given us (please find Keith!!), and the recent helpful hints Jason has contributed are on the Wiki. So now we have a media to facilitate hints and tips. However, be very careful because anything that has any form of copyright is not allowed on this site (please don’t Email copyright material either). The Trippers Email was meant for exactly what it said… trips and photography outings, please use it for nothing but that.
RPC BBQ:
Mark it down on your calendar!! Sunday July 29th from 1 to 5 pm out at the Red Barn at Sherwood Forest. Same as last year in that it will be Pot Luck and there will be a $10 non-refundable charge per person which includes that cost of your steak and the rental of the Red Barn.
An Offer From CTV:
Good Day!
I was wanting to let you and your students know that every day on CTV Morning Live we do a segment called “Morning Shot”, where we display photos sent in by viewers. I was wondering if you could pass this on to your club so that we can display some of their work on the show.
We do a poll and declare a “winner” once a month, that person receives a bouquet of flowers from Regina Florists.
Appreciate your help! If you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Thanks,

So if you are thinking about getting some Local presence and submitting to this, it would be pleasing if you specified as your name:
Joseph Shutter, a Member of the Regina Photo Club.
(I know your name isn’t Joseph Shutter but work with me…)
That’s all I’ve got so we’ll see you soon.

Field Trips
Our fieldtrippers group meets semi-regularly over the
season for outings and photo-shoots! What do
you get out of these trips? Experience, exposure,
ideas, and a really good time.
We usually foray out every 3rd Saturday of the month.
Get out with the Fieldtrippers and shoot!
There are so many events going on
in and around Regina. Keep those cameras ready and
your mind open to learn and play with new techniques.
